50x TAE

This protocol will make 1 liter of 50x solution. Adjust to your needs if necessary.

1. Add 242 g of Tris base
2. 57.1 ml of glacial acetic acid
3. 100 ml of 0.5M EDTA (pH 8.0)
4. Add water to 1 liter

50x SB

This protocol will make 2 liter of 50x solution. Adjust to your needs if necessary.

1. Add 40 g of NaOH into about 1.8 liters of H₂O
2. pH to 8.0 with Boric Acid (about 180 g)
3. Add water to 2 liters
